Jens Kuross returns with his brand new track ‘Spiraling’ which is another slice of mesmerising production that expertly uphold Jens’ direct and affecting vocal.
This follows on from his earlier releases that include his debut self-titled EP which featured lead track ‘Steadier’ and ‘Nobody’s Problem’, and his latest single release of ‘We Will Run’ backed by ‘Eclipse Apollo’ – all of which were released across 2016 on the London based Aesop label.
2017 began with LA based Jens joining Bonobo on tour for his EU & UK dates across February and march before Jens bedded down in the studio at home to focus on his own compositions. He’s also been playing select shows with The Acid – including the immersive live performance of the soundtrack to The Bomb documentary which is now showing on Netflix. They performed this at Glastonbury and the Berlinale and Tribeca film festivals.
Having studied Jazz at the Berklee College of music in Boston, MA, Jens became an active member of Ry X, The Acid and Howling’s live band before stepping out with his own sound. A sound that intelligently combines Jens’ propensity for traditional songwriting yet never compromising the unpredictable when it comes to song construction and his own production.
‘Sprilaling’ featured as the closing track on the latest episode of Lucifer Season 3, which aired last night
