Release Date:March 6th, 2017
When a rhythm is stripped down to its most basic form, all that remains is the drum. While the drum’s pattern can range in complexity, it’s simplicity as the base element for rhythm is indisputable.
This simplistic desire, to strip things down to their most raw element, led DJ 3000 and Mazepa to create the Jrums label (Pronounced ‘Drums’). Established as an outlet for more dance floor centric productions that have fallen outside of his Motech Records label, Jrums is a laboratory for creating raw compositions.
Kicking off Jrums second release is NoizyKnobs. Making their very successful debut on Motech back in December that seen support from the likes of heavy weights Truncate, S-File, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Ambivalent, Marco Carola, and Laurent Garnier. NoizyKnobs picked up where they left off with this techno driven four track ‘Glogular EP’.
