Introducing:Luminize /Watch: “Twilight”

Twilight is an edgy song, with a ‘dark pop’ sound, mixing melodic pop vocals with dark instrumental and electronic influences. The Twilight music video is a collaboration with the Dutch artist scene, out now.

With Twilight Luminize is spearheading a new artistic and musical direction. The four band members present themselves with a distinct dark sexiness and monumental fashion and music image. To create this new style shown in Twilight, they teamed up with four established Dutch artists. Fine artist and fashion designer Bagua Jody developed the creative concept and fashion design. Filmmaker Ivan Barbosa (winner of the Edison Award for Best Video clip 2016) directed the video. Director of Photography Reinout Steenhuizen nsc (‘Strike a Pose’) was responsible for the cinematography and audiovisual designer Jeroen Koopman took on the post-production.

Twilight describes the inner struggles we all have, not feeling at ease in your own body and not wanting to be vulnerable. The video clip shows a monochrome twilight zone where dark demons and desire for alleviation are fence fighting for power. But in due course this despair and inner struggle will lead to creativity and victory. Vulnerability is where every woman can find the strength to go beyond not only darkness, but also herself.
