London-via-Lincoln producer Courage has been carving a niche for himself in recent years as a purveyor of electronically inflicted pop and R&B tracks, collaborating most notably with BBC Sound of 2017 winner Ray BLK and young grime king Stormzy for 2016 breakout single ‘My Hood’. However, this success only tells half his story. After making headlines within the mainstream, Courage has returned to the club for ‘Latinman’, his second track released on pioneering UK label Rinse.
On the video, director Felix Brady has said: “We are all voyeurs whether we admit it or not. The idea of looking into the lives of others without them knowing attracts us. In this music video we have tapped into that desire, leading us on a voyeuristic celebration of London’s chaotic residents and their unique circumstances. Circumstances that precariously balance on the line between reality and fantasy.”
