Taken from the most recent Blank & Jones double album, this track has been re-wired & housed up by Hamburg based, Italian sound wizard Cassara. The result is six and a half minutes of summer house dancefloor loveliness.
You’ll know that Blank & Jones got together in 1997. They danced at KU in the 80’s and went on to make trance music, headlining Amnesia and Eden at night. In the day they played downtempo at Café Del Mar. They were part of the beginning of trance alongside Paul Oakenfold, also working with The Cure, New Order, The Pet Shop Boys & Boy George. Their sound has evolved so much over the years with 20 albums of Electronica, Ambient, Trance and Dance under their belts.
Cassara is on remix duty on this track delivering his well honed, funky-French, house style in full effect. Cris Cassara’s love for Daft Punk and the French House scene of the late 90’s with Fred Falke, Cassius and Superfunk brought him to nightly sessions in the studio, trying to decode the DNA of that legendary sound. Cassara works his magic findings on this track, with the vocal of Emma Brammer.
It’s super summery, dance floor friendly, house music that’s guaranteed to make the girls dance…
