Having revealed their final phase of world-class artists for 2018 including Dennis Ferrer, Honey Dijon, DJ Boring, CamelPhat, Soul Clap, Riva Starr, Dan Shake, DJ Gregory, Black Motion and more, the full programme for the six day Defected Croatia festival on the Adriatic has now been announced.
Covering all four unique stages at The Garden site in Tisno plus two daily boat parties and four after-hours at the world famous Barbarella’s nightclub, the jam-packed agenda for Defected Croatia 2018 promises the finest in full-spectrum house music hedonism.
Defected joins forces with Relentless to present the festival’s opening party at the Main Stage on Thursday 9th August, kicking off the festival in monumental style with Basement Jaxx, Claptone, Danny Howard, Sam Divine B2B Simon Dunmore, Mat.Joe and Andy Daniell. Defected will continue to host the Main Stage throughout the week, headlined by CamelPhat, Amine Edge & DANCE, Masters At Work, Dennis Ferrer, Roger Sanchez and many more.
Across the water at the Beach Stage will be the domain of artists like Derrick Carter, Soul Clap and Folamour for Classic Music Company, Todd Terry, Dimitri From Paris and Horse Meat Disco for Glitterbox and Nightmares On Wax, DJ Gregory and many more for Defected offshoot Block Party Beats. The beautifully shaded Olive Grove will see a repeat of last year’s unforgettable Garage Sessions with Sam Divine & Hatcha on Saturday, while Black Motion take over with their outstanding live act alongside Sef Kombo and MoBlack on Sunday.
Not one but two boat parties will set off daily on The Garden Resort’s infamous Argonaught, with CamelPhat presents BLOW! In The Haus with Melé, DJ Haus and DJ Boring, 4 To The Floor, Relentless presents Defected, DVINE Sounds, Glitterbox, Soul Heaven presents Deepah Ones, Classic Music Company, Roger Sanchez’s Undr The Watr, Café Mambo Ibiza and Beatport bringing the beats to the idyllic Adriatic. Meanwhile every day the Pontoon will see the likes of Sy Sez, Peznt, Aston Martinez and Brown S providing the soundtrack on the beach.
After dark, Barbarella’s unique outdoor clubbing setting will be curated by dance music heavyweights DFTD, Classic Music Company and of course Defected, bringing Franky Rizardo, Low Steppa, Spen & Karizma, Human Movement, Honey Dijon plus plenty more bringing the festival day to a close under the stars.
A gathering for the extended Defected family from around the world, Defected Croatia 2017 saw 3,000 house heads from the UK, Australia, L.A., South Africa and all corners of Europe come together to experience six glorious days of house music heaven, the ultimate festival escape. Like all Defected events the festival is a family affair; house heads of all generations and their favourite DJs united on the shores of the Adriatic.

There is still a chance to grab on site accommodation. Camping and ‘Glamping’ options are available, consisting of luxury bell tents which sleep up to four people with an outdoor terraced seating area. Cosy but spacious and the perfect option for comfort on a budget, festival-goers can book now with The Garden Resort to secure their places onsite. On site accommodation is booked via The Garden Resort website.
Alternatively, Tisno is a short walk from the festival with plenty of affordable apartments and hotels. Off site accommodation is booked via Love Music Travel.

With its superb sunshine record and a wide range of accommodation options from on-site apartments to DIY campsite, The Garden Resort is a truly unique setting. More than a music festival, Defected Croatia is a holiday in itself, with a range of venues running across the 6 days.
Beach Stage
Nestled directly on the Adriatic at the end of The Garden’s beach, this is the ultimate spot for soaking up Defected Croatia’s stunning setting. During the day, the Beach Stage offers uninterrupted views across the bay and crystal clear waters. The music kicks off here in the early evening, soundtracking the last hours of sunshine until dark, when flooded with multi-coloured light the stage really comes into its own. The Beach Stage is the festival’s tucked-away party piece.
Main Stage
Kicking off every evening with performances from the festival’s headliners including live acts and superstar DJs, the Main Stage is the centre of attention after dark. The largest at the site, the Main Stage is at the heart of The Garden, surrounded by the bars, food shacks and facilities. Expect to see all your favourites of the world’s biggest DJs on their very finest forms.
Olive Grove
The Main Stage’s sidekick is the Olive Grove with its large canopy, making it perfect for daytime raving. Beautifully shaded and surrounded by trees, it’s a picturesque spot in the heart of the festival site. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and close to the bars and amenities, this is your first place to head when arriving at the site.
Boat Parties
There are up to two boat parties every day during the festival, setting sail from the site’s jetty on The Garden’s famous boat The Argonaught. With an upper and lower deck, a top quality soundsystem and its own bar, The Argonaught is the ultimate party-equipped vessel. Boat parties last for two hours and venture out into Tisno’s calm coastline, returning to the festival in time to continue the party on site.
Barbarella’s
Barbarella’s discotheque is without doubt one of the most unique nightclubs in Europe. Harking back to the original days of clubbing in Europe with its open-air setting and breath-taking location, Barbarella’s invites you to dance all night under the stars. Like all the most magical parties, nights at Barbarella’s are rarely over until 7 or 8am in the morning. Reach the club via a short ride on a shuttle bus, taxi, or water taxi from the main site.
Sunrise Sessions
If the day-to-night-time festival programme and after-partying until sunrise wasn’t enough, ‘Sunrise Sessions’ down at the beach pick up where Barbarella’s leaves off. Located at the Beach Stage and kicking off around dawn, the Sunrise Sessions were an impromptu introduction to the festival in its second edition. The sessions created some memorable moments for DJs and festival-goers alike, while the sun came up on a new day at Defected Croatia.
Located just a short walk or water taxi ride from the historic old town of Tisno, with its waterside bars, cafés and restaurants, the Defected Croatia site has both a true festival ‘feel’ and retains an intimacy so often missing from many contemporary electronic music festivals.
