beGun from Barcelona lands in Sincopat putting the focus on the Kiribati islands (Pacific Ocean) as the next destination in this particular electronic music journey. This new work presents two tracks whose names, Kuria and Vostok, correspond to the two most remote capitals of the insular complex and also two of the places that are suffering the most from global warming, and may disappear in the coming decades because of the continuous rise in sea level.
In the words of the same producer:
“The goal of aiming at that inhospitable place to a musical level is to be able to contribute my part in the awareness of the effects of climate change, because it would be very unfortunate that in 10 years those two songs are still there while the two towns who gave their names have disappeared from the map”.
