Nacional Records announces the release of Dorian’s newest album, Justicia Universal, out May 25th. Dorian is currently on a U.S. run of sold-out shows with Zoé and teamed up with their tourmate Zoé’s León Larregui to release a music video for their single “Duele,” which is out today. The band says of the track, “‘Duele” shows us a darker and restless Dorian, narrating the story of a person trapped in a conflict within herself. What happens when you become your own worst enemy?”
Hailing from Barcelona, Dorian has secured its place amongst the international indie music scene and toured around the world. Their upcoming album, Justicia Universal, features collaborations with artists such as León Larregui (Zoé), Javiera Mena, and Fuel Fandango. Previous hits such as “Cualquier Otra Parte” and “La Tormenta de Arena” have become anthems for fans across their native Spain and throughout Latin America. The band has garnered over 75 million streams on digital platforms – a testament to the resonance of their songs with new generations of fans. Their signature sound mixes electronic music, pop, and new wave with deep lyrics tackling a variety of social, political, and human issues.
Justicia Universal is a commentary and reflection on the world’s current sociopolitical and cultural climate – a society obsessed with consumption, dealing with the effects of climate change, government corruption, and the loneliness of urban life fueled by the abuse of technology and drugs.
Dorian’s current U.S. run kicks off a world tour with dates scheduled through the end of the year.
