Apollo Music Group is an audio venture between Chicago residents Dan X and DJ Heather plus UK based artist Lil’ Mark.
Many will recognise DJ Heather from her classic Fabric 21 mix CD and other seminal compilation mixes for the likes of OM Records, amongst others. For this release on Apollo Music Group, DJ Heather has teamed up to provide vocals for the talented Lauren Flax.
Lauren Flax comes with a proven pedigree as a solo artist, with releases on imprints such as Nervous Records, but she is also known to many for her collaborative releases as part of the CREEP duo, which has been a prominent feature of labels including Kitsuné and Young Turks.
With many of Lauren Flax’s tracks also finding their way onto compilations for brands like Defected and Toolroom, she is fast growing in popularity, and her timeless sound can also be heard in her jacking DJ sets.
Also on the release is a solo remix from LSDXOXO, plus a collaborative rework from Angel Alanis and Hiroko Yamamura.
