Following a sold-out tour across North America, singer/songwriter Noah Kahan reveals the video for his latest single, “False Confidence”
Of the inspiration behind the video, Noah says, “‘False Confidence’ is a song about believing in yourself but also not taking yourself too seriously in the process. Making this video was a blast, I’ve never had the opportunity to act in any way and playing these different characters was almost therapeutic. Personifying the self-doubt that creeps into your thought process from time to time and then stepping back and having a good laugh while making it felt good.”
“False Confidence” made a strong debut upon its release, quickly amassing over 4 million Spotify streams and becoming the most added song at Triple A radio where it is rapidly ascending Top 30 on the chart. What’s more, Shazam announced Kahan as the latest artist to be featured in their coveted “Next To Know” program. “False Confidence” follows Kahan’s breakout global single, “Hurt Somebody” feat. Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels, which has over 170 million global streams and is triple platinum in Australia and gold in Canada, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland and New Zealand. The song is currently #1 at radio in the Netherlands, and it also peaked at #1 on the radio charts in Australia for three weeks, where Noah has become one of the year’s most buzzworthy new acts.
Kahan is currently on the European and UK leg of his headlining tour and will be supporting Leon Bridges on his Australian tour in 2019. See the full list of upcoming tour dates below. Tickets are available now at www.NoahKahan.com/tour.
