Claire Laffut shares video for ‘Gare Du Nord’

Claire Laffut – Gare Du Nord

Claire Laffut – the brilliant new singer / songwriter / painter – has shared a brand new video for her track ‘Gare Du Nord’. The track is taken from her terrific debut EP ‘MOJO’ which is out now.

Drawing from a wide-ranging palette of influences including pop, soul and jazz, Claire Laffut is the dynamic and exciting new artist originally from Belgium but now based in Paris.  Currently the face of CHANEL’s new Gabrielle campaign, Claire has an undeniable creative spirit that sees her able to dab her hand at anything whether it be modelling, painting or singing.  She previously launched her own line of hand drawn temporary tattoos, which have been acclaimed by brands such as See By Chloé, Alexander Wang and H&M. However, It’s her sharp and groovy sound that sets Claire from the pack.

A big fan of Frank Ocean, King Krule, Sade and Amy Winehouse, Claire left the small city of Walloon Brabant in Beligum when she was 19, to explore the city of Paris alone.  This is where her music was born and her independence was found. Recalling the moment she left her first love for the bright lights of the city, Claire said “I found myself alone, carrying my suitcase on a Parisian bus, feeling my heart thumping”. It’s these elements of love and adventure that ring through her music.
