Keeping things deep and classy, Dear Deer welcome Serhan Guney to the label for a new EP that features one original and remixes by Melody Stranger and Alexandos Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich. It’s another fine outing for all concerned and one that takes you well into the underground thanks to this Prague based artists supple and subtle styles.
Inside Out is a the sort of spooky, sparse yet atmospheric roller that is great for the dead of night. It has simple but effective synth lines slowly rising above succulent drums and gets you in a nice zoned out headspace.
Alexandos Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich are first to remix and they up the ante with some jittery drum work and edgy chords. It’s textured and cinematic, like a late night trip through the edges of a sleep industrial city. Melody Stranger completes a fantastic package with yawning synths that make you think, as your body gives over to the super seductive house depths of the drums. All in all another classy one.
