Glorious Purpose from S/T EP by Yeti Mind Tricks, out 22 October on Motech Records
Forthcoming on Motech Records is the second release from Glasgow’s Yeti Mind Tricks. It follows his critically acclaimed Motech debut, ‘Distance EP’, which peaked in Beatport’s Techno Top 10 Releases and received support from the likes of Josh Wink, Ken Ishii, John Digweed (on his Transitions show) and Tom Ravenscroft on BBC 6 Music, to name just a few.
This new EP, ‘Glorious Purpose’ hits even harder and deeper than the last. Featuring four fresh tracks, Yeti Mind Tricks manages to encapsulate the menace and intensity of main-room warehouse techno and sprinkle it with some Detroit groove to create something soulful and penetrating.
