Dekmantel Selectors lands back in Tisno for their 6th edition of the festival at The Garden Resort, bringing along an electrifying selection of both familiar and debuting DJs. Taking place from the 25th-29th of August 2022, this year’s edition emphasises on prolonging the charm of its intimate set-up whilst pushing a broad musical spectrum.
As per tradition, Dekmantel Selectors is the recurring season-closer of Amsterdam’s Dekmantel — an intimate, five day get-together laid out over the stunning backdrop of Tisno and the Adriatic Coast. Presenting its first entirely new line-up in over two years, Dekmantel accentuates putting acclaimed artists shoulder-to-shoulder with budding new names and debutants to the festival.
Esteemed stars of their musical world, such as CARISTA, Peach Discs front-woman Shanti Celeste and the trailblazing Eris Drew make their way to the warm Mediterranean sun, as well as some of the festival’s familiar faces like Lena WiIllikens, Antal, Sassy J, upsammy, John Talabot and Identified Patient. At the same time, the organisation puts particular care and attention into inviting a broad scope of refreshing newcomers to the Tisno grounds: OK Williams, Jane Fitz, Bianca Lexis, Teki Latex, AliA & DTM Funk, GiGi FM, Derozan, Zeta Lys, CCL and Zagreb’s bRAVE collective, consisting of Maja Pa, Le Chocolat Noir and Ikonal, will all make their Dekmantel Selectors debut.
As its palette of sound keeps evolving, the key ingredients of Dekmantel Selectors remain: laid- back dancing and hanging out by the sea during daytime, more raucous affairs spread across three different stages as the sun comes down, heading to the beloved Barbarella’s nightclub until the morning sun, as well as a daily fleet of infamous boat parties that are hosted by organisations, crews and collectives that are vital to the scene Dekmantel is operating in, such as IsBurning, WAS., BAR40 and Echobox Radio. Binding all these elements into one, Dekmantel Selectors 2022 sets out to host an extraordinary selection of exciting and groundbreaking DJs, all tucked together over at the beautiful Croatian shores.
