Listen : Copenhagen 2018, Vol. 1 – Compiled by Kenneth Bager

Music For Dreams releases the first of Kenneth Bager’s Copenhagen 2018 compilation series
on the 9th of February.

The compilation contains lots of new tracks, from the MFD catalogue. Among the exclusives are new MFD artists Aussteiger, Aleceo, Willie Graff and Darren Eboli.
Both Aussteiger and Aleceo are releasing solo albums in 2018 on MFD.

The compilation starts off with new Danish talent to watch out for – Oscar Bandersen’s new R&B single ‘Running’ featuring Bruce, with airplay support on BBC 6music and DR P6 Beat and P7.
The listener then gets a taste of both Aussteiger and Willie Graf & Daren Eboli’s house vibes. The journey continues through blissfull Ukranian vibes with Troels Hammer feat. the voice of Mariana Sadovska’s “The Human Tree” and then to the beaches of Rio with the DJ Harvey fave of Copenema – Te Faz Bem (Kenneth Bagers Dub Mix).

The Copenhagen 2018 Compilation also offers club tracks such as the WOO MOON fave Visti & Meylands track “Tabah” remixed by Corrado & The Kenneth Bager Experience track “I wish I Could Be Happy”.
Kenneth Bagers love for Ibiza is far from hidden on the compilation and both Ambala’s track ‘Calypso Beach’ (Andi Hanley Remix) and Dalholt & Langkildes track ‘Document’, makes you want to hop on the plane to the White Isle.

As the name of the Compilation states, the sounds have all been filtered through the Danish capital and even though much of the Danish talent creates music suited for southern beaches the Nordic sounds are still to be found. The Danish duo AyOwA’s dark Nordic pop song ‘Insomnia’ is featured on the Compilation. Even though AyOwA sings in Danish they have received airplay around the world and the Huffington Post described their music as: “Danish never sounded so sexy”. The last track on the Compilation is the track ‘Shadows’ by Copenhagen based trio Silent Riders, and the journey is rounded of in the Nordic dark woods.

The Compilation will be available 9th February on the Danish record label Music For Dreams.
