As featured on Deep ConnectFM 42 Tracks of the Week selection here
The album, kicking off with ‘Deep Love’ (feat. Alison David), gets a special remix from Alvaro Hylander (DeepWit Recordings). Alvaro, originally from southern Spain, now residing in Belgium, graces the track with his deep, warm and organic signature sound, making perfect use of the vocals and instrument elements.

Sumsuch (BBE/Colour and Pitch) delivers a very classy remix of ‘Rain and Sunshine’ (feat. Alison David), upping the tempo, using arpeggios, new chords and piano that take the track in a whole new direction, doing total justice to the vocal. This remix is an even newer version to the previously released remix which became a beach-club hit in Ibiza last summer, and now he strips things down a little and refreshes the mix for 2022.
Al Bradley (3am Recordings) remixes ‘Calling You In’ (feat. Alison David) in true style by mixing the chords and cubby vocal elements with broken beats and acid flourishes. Deep and twisted!
Tim Haze (Tidy Taps) provides the other remix of ‘Rain and Sunshine’ (feat. Alison David), keeping the super warm vibe with chord/synth additions. He does wonders with the vocals and track arrangement. At the same tempo as the original, this version will sound very at home in a warm-up set as the sun sets.
‘Sunset’ gets a super exclusive remix by Personal Belongings label founder Kanedo & Sumsuch. This remix was put together in a couple of studio sessions in Barcelona, where the duo keep the feel of the original but take the track on a completely new journey with new chord changes and lush instrumentation. A stunning track with both organic and mid tempo deep house flavours.
The title track ‘Balance’ is remixed by US deep house producer Ezra Collins (Miura Records/Colour in Music), upping the tempo, adding a rolling baseline and filtering the main synth, creating a vibey storytelling track.
Al Bradley (3am Recordings) delivers a 2nd remix of ‘Calling You In’ (feat. Alison David), this time on a deeper 4/4 tip with trippy sounds, bass and utilising more of the vocal.
Argentinian DJ and producer Jero Nougues provides the remix of ‘Sunrise’ (feat Frank H Carter III), bringing an expansive deep and dreamy feel. Sweeping chords, a dramatic low-end pull, and reverb-laden production imagine the impressive moment of the day’s first light reaching out across a scenic landscape.
