Singer, songwriter, and producer Absolutely announces her highly anticipated new album Paracosm, arriving in 2026,via RCA Records UK. Alongside the news, today she shares the album’s striking new single “No Audience” — a dark, cinematic meditation on the tension between creativity and visibility.
The aptly titled Paracosm arrives as Absolutely prepares for a landmark year, joining her sister RAYE’s This Tour May Contain New Music as direct support, alongside her other sister Amma. The tour will hit major arenas across Europe and the UK this winter before heading to North America in late March. Between runs, Absolutely will join Reneé Rappon arena dates across Europe. “No Audience” offers instant immersion into Absolutely’s one-of-one sonic universe. Her dynamic voice leads us through a constantly shifting space where burbling bass synths and staggering piano keys crash up against an orchestral wall of sound. Her stacked vocals surge, as she asks: “Dreamer, empty seats in the theater / Nobody watching, wouldn’t that be freer? / Oh, can you visualize it? / Dancing without even trying? Moving your body out of timing?” Over a kaleidoscopic mix of pop, electronica, jazz, and R&B, she arrives at a conclusion befitting Paracosm’s theme:“Anything you decide, you can make it real life.”
“For me, ‘No Audience’ is about freeing myself from being performative or attempting to be somebody other than my authentic self just for the sake of being liked, accepted, or understood,” says Absolutely. “There’s a metaphor of standing in a theater with no one watching — I can just dance without caring.”
In truth, more people are watching than ever following the viral success of previous Paracosm single “I Just Don’t Know You Yet.” When Absolutely previewed the song on her summer tour with BANKS, it sparked an extended standing ovation that quickly exploded on TikTok. Her initial post of the performance amassed millions of views, inspiring fan covers and earning praise from fellow artists including Kehlani, Julia Michaels, Meghan Trainor, Zara Larsson, and Natasha Bedingfield. Just last week, The Jonas Brothers called her onstage to perform the song together. They also recorded a backstage acoustic version.
Prior to “I Just Don’t Know You Yet,” Absolutely launched her new era with “Goodbye Glitter,” a dramatic expansion of her immersive artistry following her acclaimed 2023 debut album CEREBRUM. Over the past year, she has contributed across the discographies of artists like LISA, GIVĒON, and Teddy Swims, and appeared on collaborations with The Chainsmokers (“Air”) and MARINA via the “EVERYBODY KNOWS I’M SAD (REMIX).”
