Sonic Soul Orchestra steps back onto SoSure Music with ‘Right Now’, a gorgeous two track release that leans into the warm, melodic side of house he has been championing since his return to the studio. Singer Camden Rose fronts the title track with a smooth vocal that sits comfortably over bright piano lines and a groove built for dancers who like their uplift served with a little soul.
‘Run The Rhythm’ shifts into a funkier vibe, driven by a rolling bassline and those sweeping strings that have become part of the SSO palette. Camden brings another open-hearted performance, giving the track a late-night glow. Both cuts come with edits from S.K.O.D. who tightens the arrangement and adds his signature dance floor edge.
Sonic Soul Orchestra has been on a strong run since re-entering the production world and this release keeps that momentum moving. And with a new label on the horizon, People Watching, he is clearly not slowing down.
