German electronic music producer Martin Kohlstedt is preparing to release his new album Kluft on May 22nd, a meticulously crafted fusion of electronic, acoustic, and analog elements that comes together in a rare harmony of sonic depth, atmosphere, and substance.
Ahead of the release, he has prepared an exclusive mix for us featuring first-listen tracks from the album, alongside selections from some of our favourite artists, including Four Tet, Fred again.. & Brian Eno, Max Cooper, Ben Lukas Boysen, and more.
In Between – a 45-minute passage through the liminal. A space where the old has already dissolved, and the new has not yet taken form. Suspended between departure and arrival, it lingers in that quiet, shifting threshold where identity softens and begins again. Textures unfold slowly, tracing the distance between opposing poles – not to resolve them, but to let them resonate, to let them listen to each other. This mix moves within that fragile interval: a search for coherence, for reunion – for the subtle moment when separation begins to fold back into connection. For drifting, for becoming, for staying with what is not yet defined.
