Sonny Fodera gets set for a huge year ahead as his hit track ‘Somedays’ with Jazzy & D.O.D on his own Solotoko label receives a nomination for ‘Song Of The Year’ at The Brit Awards 2025, marking it the only independent release in the category.
This major milestone arrives ahead of Sonny’s forthcoming single ‘Tell Me’ with long standing collaborator Clementine Douglas, who recently picked up the DJ Mag Best Of British ‘breakthrough vocalist’ award.
Proving their undeniable talent for writing dance tracks with chart topping potential, Sonny Fodera and Clementine Douglas are set to continue their run with ‘Tell Me’, their third track together following ‘Angel’ and previous top 10, double platinum anthem ‘Asking’ from 2023.
Sonny and Clementine’s collaborations have clocked up more than 300M streams between them, with BRIT Award nomination ‘Somedays’ alone now at over 110M global streams. It has also achieved Gold certification in the UK, Double Platinum in Ireland, and Gold in Australia.
Along with these career defining releases, Sonny prepares for his biggest UK headline show announcement to date at Silverworks Island (20,000 capacity) in London on 12th July following a non stop run of tours for the globally-renowned DJ-producer.
Sonny’s past three releases, ‘Somedays’, ‘Mind Still’ and ‘Asking’ have all entered the UK singles chart, making Solotoko one of the first independent dance labels to land two top 10 hits within 12-months and now for 2025, the only independent label nomination in its BRIT Award category for ‘Song Of The Year’.
Years of hard work have culminated in these achievements for Sonny, who now boats a vast catalogue of tracks including collaborations with the likes of Diplo, MK, Sinead Harnett, Becky Hill, Jazzy and Gorgon City to name a few, all while heading up his own sold out shows at Alexandra Palace in London, three nights at the 3Arena in Dublin and 2 nights at Warehouse Project in Manchester. Sonny has also held down a prestigious Ibiza residency at Amnesia for three consecutive years, with a very exciting 2025 weekly show yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, collaborator and 2024 winner for ‘Breakthrough Vocalist’ at the DJ Mag Best Of British awards, Clementine Douglas is an in demand contemporary talent who has accumulated a hit catalogue having worked with influential artists like The Blessed Madonna, David Guetta, TSHA, Chase & Status, ALOK and many more. Her previous collaboration ‘Asking’ with Sonny Fodera marks one of her biggest tracks to date, spending 50 weeks in the OCC charts and landing Platinum in the UK, Double Platinum in Ireland and earning Gold certified in Australia.
Continuing to reach bigger heights in 2025, Sonny Fodera and Celementine Douglas’ ‘Tell Me’ is an immediately captivating house cut sprinkled with Clementine’s signature soul drenched vocals that soar amongst euphoric synth breakdowns. It is packed with heart-aching temptation, bold drum patterns and hypnotic energy that is sure to become yet another bold crowd pleaser and future anthem, marking another big year ahead for the duo.
