For Dubwise #40, they welcome Deepsteps to the roster with three fresh originals plus remixes. “Fractured Heart” opens things distinctively with a slow-burning rhythmical jaunt rife with flowing synths, scattered percussive edges, and cascading build. The Funtom Remix pushed the track into a more linear dancefloor groove while maintaing the signature strings and keys. The Oversound Remix recapitulates the symphonic elements while merging the sounds with updated chords and melodics. The second original, “Think With Me”, is an ethereal drifting cinematic piece of Balearic beauty. The final cut, “Gravity” is a resplendent piano-led tech track that moves in circles around a counter-point vocal and somber keyboards.
