ACEEK, from ‘Sound Of The Bassline EP’, out 13 March on HYLP
2020 sees the launch of new label, HYLP – a personal platform for Hyperloop to showcase his take on techno, house, breaks, acid and beyond.
For those not in the know, Neapolitan producer Hyperloop has released material on labels like Drumcode , Ovum, Truesoul and Second State since 2017. Obviously inspired by the Elon Musk experiments in sustainable technology, the idea behind this side project is to explore the functionality of club tracks experimenting with ostinato patterns, which in electronic music, is often referred to as the loop.
HYLP001 delivers two new quality full-length cuts featuring the deep thumping basslines Hyperloop has become known for, laced with inspired touches like the robotic vocodered vox of ‘SOTB’ and the tough breaks and acidic refrain of ‘ACEEK’. Also included are the “Tool” versions of tracks 1 and 2, which will be a feature of each HYLP release.
