Introducing London-based producer, composer and DJ Ruthlss with her latest single ‘Feel Good’ via AMF Records’ (Loyle Carner, Alice Glass, Greentea Peng) Select Few imprint. Marking her first release since her acclaimed debut EP Northern Lights, ‘Feel Good’ captures Ruthlss’ signature blend of emotive electronic soundscapes, club-inspired energy, and classical finesse.
Anchored by hypnotic vocal samples and Ruthlss’ meticulous production, ‘Feel Good’ embodies the duality at the heart of her work; an exploration of vulnerability that still pushes towards the dancefloor’s euphoric release. Written during a period of personal struggle, ‘Feel Good’ transforms that weight into something uplifting and cathartic as she explains:
“Feel Good is something I made when I wasn’t feeling great a few months ago. Ironically the process of making this tune made me feel a lot better, especially while listening back to various versions of it on long walks around London this summer. It’s about toxic positivity but also, even when things are stacked against you, pushing through the noise to feel ok. It’s managing to reach a place of euphoria even when things seem hard.”
Ruthlss is a classically trained electronic music producer and film composer who draws on her background in piano and orchestration to create layered, emotional sound design. An Ableton ambassador and one of Rinse FM’s ‘Class of 2024’ artists, she has quickly established herself as a rising force in the UK’s electronic scene. Her eclectic influences span Daniel Avery, Haai, Grimes, and Koreless, with her own live performances lighting up venues and festivals from Corsica Studios and Colour Factory to Berlin’s RSO.
