Pozer is back. Croydon-born, chart-breaking, and shaping the sound of UK rap, he returns with ‘Jersey King’ – a freestyle-turned-statement that fans demanded after catching fire across TikTok and Instagram. Flipping Blood Orange’s ‘Champagne Coast’ into a lean, Jersey club-driven cut, producers kosfinger & tthat’s nasty set the stage for Pozer to go in at his most direct: raw, uncompromising and built to cut through.
Ideated by creative director Silas.Atwal, the ‘Jersey King’ visual cuts like the track itself – sharp, gritty, and fast-paced. A smoky montage of VHS textures and nocturnal London, it splices together Pozer on the tube, tearing through the city on motorbikes and raw street footage. DIY in spirit but executed with precision, the video mirrors the track’s tense, kinetic energy and cements Pozer’s presence as both a commanding rapper and a distinct visual force.
Fresh from shutting down Reading & Leeds and Latitude, Pozer’s momentum speaks for itself. His first two singles, ‘Kitchen Stove’ and ‘Malicious Intentions’, made him the first UK rapper to chart both simultaneously, with global streams now topping 100 million. A MOBO win, BBC Sound of 2025 nod and co-signs from Stormzy, Dave and AJ Tracey only underline his arrival as one of the most important new voices in British rap.
With ‘Jersey King’, Pozer strips things back to the essentials – bars, vision, impact – and cements his place as the UK’s next era-defining artist.
