Dante´s Album New Places is out April 10th

New Places’ is Dante‘s third studio album – and his most daring yet. It‘s an album breaking new ground and redefines Dante‘s sound. It was created entirely in London – a city whose energy, diversity and chaos can be heard in every track.
Field recordings, urban textures and pulsating rhythms combine to create a soundscape that not only captures the city, but breathes it. Despite all the new influences, Dante‘s signature style remains unmistakable. His music tells stories – of dreams and setbacks, of people and moments, of getting stuck and moving on. ‘New Places’ is not a straight path, but a journey with detours. Sometimes you stop and think: I‘ve been here before, look back before moving on again. On this journey, you meet people – some stay, some go, some are simply the motivation to keep going.

Dante‘s world is one in which eight months of winter depression are replaced by four months of spring euphoria. Where a day consists of ten hours of twilight, ten hours of clubbing and four hours of sunrise. Dark, but beautiful. Heavy, but alive. New Places is exactly that: a place between light and shadow, standstill and movement.

Dante about the album & London:

At some point, it felt like there was already too much music. A release schedule stretching far into the future. No space to breathe. No space to feel. Stepping back started to feel necessary. Letting go. Shifting focus. Trusting that the flow would return — even without guarantees. Maybe the real mistake was trying too hard to find meaning. Things that had been missing for a long time. That realization marked a turning point. I followed the urge to change my surroundings and went to the place that shaped my taste and my understanding of electronic music more than any other: the UK and especially London. For me London felt like the center of it all.

I went there for four weeks with one simple intention: to make music. There was no certainty that an album would come out of it at all. I slept in hostels and student apartments, keeping costs low, staying close to everyday life. I produced music everywhere — in shared living rooms, cafés, parks, my small apartment, and later in larger studios like Tileyard and Eastcote.

The city slowly took over. London is raw and restless. Every night feels different. Genres collide naturally — just like people. That openness shaped the music. The album moves freely between styles, mirroring the city’s diversity and constant motion. Beyond sound and structure, the album tells a more personal story. It’s about feeling stuck — and searching for new meaning. Looking back, it’s striking how closely the tracks reflect my life at that time: a difficult relationship, hard decisions, moments where standing still felt impossible. Without planning it, the music became a mirror — capturing an inner state I didn’t yet have the words for.

The vinyl edition of ‘New Places’ is being realised through a special crowdfunding campaign by Diggersfactory – an opportunity for the community to directly shape and support this next chapter of the project. The edition is limited to 500 hand-numbered copies, making each record a true collector‘s item. As a thank you to the first supporters, the vinyl can be purchased at no additional cost via a special purchase page, along with an exclusive Dante T-shirt. This is strictly limited to 50 copies. The design features a minimalist line drawing of a glider, reflecting the feeling of lightness, movement and emotional elevation that runs through the album. Included also a set of exclusive stickers and a download link to all digital versions of the album tracks, so you can listen wherever you are.
Supporting the vinyl doesn’t just secure your copy — it directly helps shape an independent release created for the people who have been and will be part of this journey.
