This tune was destined to be the one when Adam and SG Lewis met in Los Angeles in 2023. They hit it off immediately – why wait to collaborate on something when you can use the time in between Coachella weekends to go to a studio in LA together? That’s where “Be The One“ came to life. Refined and tested out in clubs in the months that followed, it’s finally seeing the light of day as a record that thrives on both artists’ mutual penchant for captivating hooks and heartwarming emotional depth. The single is available digitally and will be available on vinyl soon via Keinemusik here.
The track captures lightning in a bottle: two globally respected tastemakers channeling a shared love of emotive dance music into something immediate, intimate, and built for that moment where night turns into morning. Our mutual appreciation of emotive dance music made for a very natural collaboration process in the studio, and ‘Be The One’ was a result of wanting to create a song that soundtracks the moment on the dance floor when the sun rises.”

ABOUT SG LEWIS:
SG Lewis started his musical career as a resident DJ for Chibuku in Liverpool, a place that gave him his musical education and allowed him to cut his teeth as a DJ. It was there that he fell in love with electronic music, club culture, and mixing records. Fast forward ten years, and that original love for club music remains the fuel that feeds every piece of music he makes.
Now one of the most sought-after producers in music, SG Lewis has collaborated with icons such as Elton John, Clairo, Khalid, Nile Rodgers, Victoria Monét, Raye, and The Neptunes/N.E.R.D’s Chad Hugo. His debut album times and its follow-up AudioLust & HigherLove received critical acclaim, propelling his career streams beyond 2 billion. In September, he released his third studio album, Anemoia, featuring collaborations with London Grammar, Shygirl, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Oliver Sim of The xx. Behind the scenes, he has produced Dave’s seminal breakout track “100M’s” and co-written “Hallucinate” for Dua Lipa’s record-smashing, GRAMMY-nominated number-one album Future Nostalgia.
A prolific live performer, SG Lewis played Coachella’s coveted sunset slot in 2023 to over 100,000 people and headlined All Points East in London. In 2024, he took the stage at Glastonbury’s Lonely Hearts Club as part of the CLUB HEAT campaign, performing alongside longtime friend and collaborator Tove Lo.
His deep connection to club culture led to the creation of Forever Days, his club-centric imprint. Designed as a space to push creative boundaries beyond the sound of his solo artist project, the label has already unveiled collaborations with Chloe Caillet, DJ Seinfeld, and Loods.
