These historic, fifty-year-old performances have been respectfully reformed and sonically sound as if they were recorded last month – great songs, full of pizzazz, top-class musicianship and all destined to shimmer on the dance floors for a whole new generation to enjoy.
Lending his French magic touch, The Reflex offers two outstanding revisions on ‘I’ll Still Be Here For You’ and ‘Don’t Want To Lose You’, whilst carefully upholding the epic layers of musicianship from D.C’s original’s. A very famous NuDisco producer, who for this release goes under the alias of Unorthodox, delivers a divine Disco dance floor re-vibe on the much-loved classic ‘Cathedrals’. Closing out, Dafia Records boss Mannix brings his beautifully crafted candy-sweet Disco touch to ‘I’ll Still Be Here For You’, rounding off this superb tribute to one of Disco’s biggest creative talents.
