Premiere: Simon Heartfield – Element Number 7 [Synonym Music]

“Element Number 7” by Simon Heartfield is taken from “Light Fades and Light Returns” LP set for release on 29th May 2026 on Synonym Music.

Dropping on the new Synonym Music imprint Simon’s 24th studio album draws on decades of musical influences from ambient and post-rock through techno to modern classical and experimental electronics.

It is an evolving cinematic musical landscape of distant piano figures, dense electronics, layered guitar textures, disembodied fractured voices through to insistent percussion and powerful rhythms.

The album transforms patiently from dark, melancholic introspection to a more hopeful dramatic conclusion. A sense of time passing.
