Belly Full Of Stars is the electronic sound project of Nashville-based musician, recordist, and audio editor Kim Rueger. Blending synths and processed field recordings with mechanical elements and repurposed objects she creates textured compositions that veer ambient, with hints of glitch. Combining detailed sound edits, granular synthesis, looping, and live improvised performance, she seeks to redraw, expand, and remake the connection between physical items and spaces, and the time/memory in which they came to light.
