The album marks a new phase in the TUKAN journey after years of performing on international stages and resonating with an ever more diverse audience. It embodies this collective movement; this human drift where the individual is swept away by a force larger than themselves. It’s about bodies in motion and imperfections that reveal the authenticity of the moment.
Birthed from the meeting of Nathan Van Brande, Andrea Pesare and Samuel Marie at a recording studio in Antwerp, their musical chemistry began to develop and after experimenting with various projects under the name Boucan, the trio reinvented itself in 2019 as TUKAN with the arrival of Tommaso Patrix. The new lineup marked the beginning of an enriching journey, during which the band delved into an intense creative period, refining their style and establishing a distinctive musical direction.
