Luke Hess channels Detroit’s underground and spiritual depth on new album “Arkeo”

Detroit’s Luke Hess is relaunching his DeepLabs imprint.
The first release is the producer’s third album, marking 10 years since his last LP.

Arkeo is his most eclectic and techno-driven album to date – a fusion of his love for subterranean aesthetics and his deeply-rooted connection to Detroit’s underground music scene.

While always keeping the dance floor in mind, this album also reflects something more personal: his own spiritual journey and how it applies to his daily.

In Luke’s own words:

Arkeo represents the awareness that I have weaknesses, but rather than seeing them as limitations, I view them as opportunities for God’s power to work through me.
It’s a reminder that my dependence on Him allows me to walk more fully into the abundant life I’m meant to live.
Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
As you listen, my hope is that you don’t just hear the music, but that you feel a connection to something deeper.
