Love Remain releases new single ‘Love, Friends, Music’ via Warehouse Project Records

After a summer run of festivals including Glastonbury, Junction 2, Lost Village, Boardmasters and a recently announced 4-hour slot at Pickle Factory (already sold out), anonymous London-based artist Love Remain returns with an unapologetically uplifting single ‘Love, Friends, Music’ via newly formed Warehouse Project Records. Syncopated piano stabs and looped vocal samples create a nostalgic ode to rave culture in this high energy club cut primed to hit sweaty dance floors from the UK to the world over.

Speaking on the track, Love Remain explains: “Love, Friends, Music is self-explanatory, it’s a song that is exactly that, a soundtrack to sharing the good times, the memorable ones with people close to you.

Love Remain’s music explores the geography of everyday life. The UK producer makes transfixing and poetic dance music that’s suffused with the sounds of people and place: field recordings of London life, birdsong from the city’s green spaces, nightclub conversations that fade like embers. The vibrant and the vulnerable, the miraculous and the mundane – these all appear in Love Remain’s music with the quality of a dream or mirage. His productions are primed for dancefloors and festivals, but through the use of atmospheric space, he also leaves room for reflection. He describes ambient music as “a blank canvas for your memories”, able to evoke the personal recollections and individual desires of the listener in a way that is both extremely specific yet evocative enough to feel universal.

The project has been greeted with affection and high praise from the electronic music community, particularly for his most recent body of work Is What It Is, which featured lead single ‘LDN GIRLS’, renowned for its distinctly London flavour which is so integral to the Love Remain moniker.

Love Remain has supported Four Tet at his Finsbury Park takeover and performed at The Warehouse Project alongside the likes of Skrillex, Ben UFO & Sherelle, and made his debut Drumsheds appearance on the Hydra line up in March. Love Remain’s live show has been making waves in the scene with a sold out Bermondsey Social Club, Corsica Studios and he also headlined Fabric Room 1 back in April. Love Remain will be playing at Plissken festival in Athens tomorrow, before a string of Autumn shows at Warehouse Project’s Repercussion, a sold out Pickle Factory (4 hour headline set), and Pitchfork Paris (live) in November.
