For the July release, Laurent Garnier’s COD3 QR delivers a host of 7 partners in crime, in the form of collaborative tracks by Carlos Nilmmns & Keter Darker, Steve Bug & Josh Wink, Trecci & MØZES, WheelUP & Blu James, Jules Wells & DCLVIII OFC, ProOne79 & Dave Davis, and Axel Blanc & Arthur Pringle.

Carlos Nilmmns is a Scottish music producer, DJ and composer. His music has been released on Planet E, Trax, Cocoon, Ornaments, Circus, Virgin, Skylax/Universal Music France and more.

Keter Darker is a Chicago-born artist and poet whose work blends spoken word, deep house and jazz influences. His first notable appearance came on Dutch label 4 Lux. The project sparked an ongoing creative partnership with Nilmmns, resulting in a body of work that fuses electronic production with jazz-inflected textures, like opener “Southside”.

Steve Bug is one of electronic music’s true originals. Renowned globally as a DJ, producer and curator, Steve has significantly shaped the European House and Techno scene through his influential label, Poker Flat Recordings.

He teams up with Philadelphia born and based Josh Wink for “Go Back”. A pioneer of Techno, House and allied styles – blurring the definitions, Josh is also head of the mighty Ovum Recordings.

Trecci is a French DJ, electronic music producer and manager of Naeba Records and Ontake Records. He’s also featured on Brique Rouge, Soiree, RF, Biotech, UKR Special Series, Nice & Nasty, Deep Gruv, Hautboxx, Slates Records and more.

MØZES operates at the intersection of House and Techno, with a sound rooted in the foundations of Detroit and Chicago on labels including Yucatec and LAARK Records. Here they match their influences on “Detroit Crunch”.

WheelUP is the moniker of West London producer and DJ Danny Wheeler. With residencies on stations such as Balamii and Worldwide FM, he’s released music on CoOperation Records, Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce and his long-time home Tru Thoughts.

Blu James is a British singer, songwriter and performer best known as the original vocalist on the iconic Basement Jaxx hit “Red Alert”. Throughout her career, Blu has worked across multiple genres, recording and performing with a variety of artists and producers. The pair contribute the Disco House stylings of “Fire in The Hold”.

Influenced by the Motor City, Jules Wells has released on labels like Electrofunk, Submerge, Twilight 76, KMS, Planet E, Brique Rouge and Logos.

Anthony Godin who’s released on Suara, Still Von Talent, Kattermukke and Einmusika created the DCLVIII OFC project to embody a more techno approach, with Detroit influences and a Garnier touch. After numerous individual contributions to COD3 QR, they team up for “Time Machine”.

Italian based producer ProOne79 has been crafting high-powered and catchy Techno and House for labels like Nervous, Circus, Kneaded Pains, Flashmob, WRKTRX.

Dave Davis is a Belgian DJ, producer, singer and songwriter whose journey through electronic music began in the early ’90s. With more than two decades in electronic music, he’s released on LAARK Records, Get Physical Music, Skint Records and more. Together they deliver the driving “Fantasy”.

Closing track “Devil’s Whip” is the outcome of a spontaneous collaboration between two young DJs and producers: Axel Blanc and Arthur Pringle.

Their journeys converged a few years ago at a wild gathering held in the Luberon mountains. Since then, they’ve shared their enthusiasm for Techno throughout numerous shows, sharing decks. Their collaboration here resembles a musical conversation between two friends; each contributing their own sensitivity and musical influences. Out of this emerged a techno track with a raw and captivating energy, reflecting their connection and creative chemistry.
