Purple Disco Machine announces his fourth studio album ‘COSMOTROPIA‘ and releases new single ‘Test My Luck’ featuring MEEK

Producer extraordinaire Purple Disco Machine announces the next evolution of his artistic journey with his fourth studio album ‘COSMOTROPIA ’, set for release on date and available to pre-order now. Alongside the announcement, today also sees Purple Disco Machine drop his new single ‘Test My Luck’ featuring MEEK.

A pivotal milestone in an illustrious career, the LP will offer a full-spectrum showcase of Tino Piotek’s production expertise combined with the distinctive sound that has helped bring disco music to new generations in recent times. A bold new addition to his ever-evolving catalogue, ‘COSMOTROPIA’ draws heavily on the cosmic disco and space-rock sounds of the 1970’s and 80’s.

Inspired by the records his parents played from the likes of Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and Kraftwerk plus his own deep dives into the foundational sounds of European disco from France, Italy, and Germany , this is an album that looks back across decades of music while remaining unmistakably Purple Disco Machine. At its core, ‘COSMOTROPIA’ is set to serve as a testament to the Grammy Award winner’s transcendent approach to creating music that is not only there to be danced to, but to be felt.

In line with the album release, Purple Disco Machine will mark his latest evolution as disco’s modern-day ambassador with a full live tour across Europe in Autumn 2027, featuring a band, dancers and vocalists. The German dates have already been announced, with the fan pre-sale now live and general tickets going on sale October 7th. Further European dates will follow soon.

Purple Disco Machine brings us the first taste of the upcoming album with the release of ‘Test My Luck’ featuring British singer MEEK. While not instantly reflecting the album’s cosmic themes, it captures an essential side of Purple Disco Machine: the ability to create huge, uplifting records that connect instantly. Built around vibrant production, warm keys, and an ‘80s disco-rock kick, ‘Test My Luck’ has all the ingredients of an anthem. MEEK’s vocals bring a modern pop sensibility with an indie-rock edge, balancing confidence and vulnerability and making her voice a perfect complement to the anthemic production. With a nostalgic quality running through the record, it strikes that rare balance of exemplifying all the immediacy of a crossover hit without sacrificing the emotional core that has become a consistent piece of the German producer’s artistry.

London-based singer, songwriter MEEK has quickly emerged as one of UK pop’s most compelling voices. Having honed her craft behind the scenes, writing for the likes of Rita Ora, Martin Garrix, Alan Walker and R3HAB, she has stepped firmly into the spotlight with her breakout single ‘Fabulous’ climbing viral charts earlier this year. Pairing bold alternative pop with an ethos rooted in individuality and self-expression, MEEK continues her rise by bringing her powerful vocal presence to ‘Test My Luck’.

About Purple Disco Machine:

With over 3 billion streams, five Diamond Awards, and a Grammy Award to his name, Tino Piontek has already cemented his position as one of the world’s leading producers. Three acclaimed albums, ‘Soulmatic’, ‘Exotica’, and ‘Paradise’, have highlighted Purple Disco Machine’s studio perfectionism and ability to construct conceptual pieces of work that stand the test of time, celebrating disco’s heritage without being bound by it. Those albums have given us global hits such as ‘Hypnotized’, ‘Substitution’, ‘In The Dark’, and ‘Devil In Me’, among countless others, earning him 30+ Platinum Awards, Gold Awards across the globe, and six number ones on the German Airplay Charts. Furthermore, remixes for the likes of Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Elton John, and more have established him as an artist that some of the biggest names look to as an all-encompassing production powerhouse, with his remix of Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’ earning him a Grammy Award. Bringing disco culture to the live scene, he has become a consistent fixture at some of dance music’s famous hotbeds. With a Pacha Ibiza residency that transported the island back to a time when disco was first blooming on the Balearic beauty, a sold-out London show, and multiple sellouts across Germany, Italy, and more, he has pioneered disco’s revival on the live scene. He will continue to bring that energy to his European tour in Autumn.

About Meek:

MEEK is one of British pop’s most distinctive rising voices, signed to BMG and named one of Rolling Stone UK’s “25 Artists to Watch” this year. Since her debut single, ‘Fabulous’, in January, she’s built her reputation on writing and performing candid, sharp pop songs. Live, she’s played Mighty Hoopla, Capital’s Summertime Ball and London Pride, appeared on Saturday Night Live UK and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as joining Kesha as special guest on her US tour. MEEK headlines the UK and Ireland this winter, culminating at London’s Electric Brixton, before dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
