Drama Single out July 6, stream a-side “Mentions”
HTRK’s new single was recorded by band members Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang at Standish’s home in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne. It sees the duo reflecting on a period of instability. Standish explores a lack of physical intimacy in the social media age (on ‘Mentions’) and tries to coax back someone who’s given up (on ‘More to Enjoy’), while Yang’s guitar lines curl slowly through the air. The single precedes a new HTRK full-length album in production.
