The always ahead of the curve Italoboyz are back with a new EP on the Tribalisms Boys’ excellent Made in Italy Music. It features one of their own fresh conceptions and one from Leonardo Gonnelli.
Freccia Italo is the original and is six deep and smooth minutes of curious house music. Spooky synths move about the mix as the drums suck you in, and it is a cut full of atmosphere and some brilliantly noodling jazz chords. Leonardo Gonnelli’s remix is more tech edged and driving, with freaky vocal sounds stitched into the groove. It’s one for clued up dance floors and is a tune with real personality.
Once again then this is a fine EP from Italoboyz and the essential Made in Italy Music
