Renowned as a world-class selector Juli `s approach to her music is nothing short of pure magic as she weaves her way through textured soundscapes, jazz-influenced stabs with soft, warm pads and a rolling undercarriage of beautifully mixed drums giving all her productions a substantial injection of energy.
Both songs in the EP feature a bit of soulful house that`s married beautifully with classic dance elements giving her tracks a fresh perspective on the dancefloor. The first song, „Ketch Up” has a tribal drum progression giving it an African born rhythmic swing with layers of various percussive drums building nicely through the track as a grooving, driven bassline assists it flawlessly.
The second song titled „Supine“ is a throwback to a real deep-house era with focus placed on a massive landscape of exceptionally well-designed sounds for the song. Rhythmic delays, strummed out plucks and a consistent warmth through layered pads and grooves shows a sense of maturity from the Swiss artist this only gained through years of experience in lighting up Dancefloors all over the world.
