Freeze taken from Italian rising techno star Sara Simonit’s new EP, Evolution out September 9th via Christian Smith’s Tronic imprint
The EP is the follow-up to Sara’s outstanding Tronic debut, Magia EP
Six months after debuting on Christian Smith’s Tronic imprint with Magia EP, Italian rising star Sara Simonit will drop her follow-up with the Evolution EP.
Simonit’s recent bootleg of DJ Rolando’s timeless ‘Jaguar’ catapulted her into the spotlight, with major support from the likes of Carl Cox, Karotte and Christian Smith . Cox loved it so much, he played it to a loving crowd at the Off Sonar closing party and Resistance Ibiza.
Now Simonit returns with her latest EP, Evolution, which shows the remarkable growth of her sound with four club-ready bangers.
The opening track ‘Don’t Wait’ is seven minutes of dancefloor euphoria, equally fitted for big festivals and dark nightclubs. The title track steps things up with a rolling banger destined to destroy dancefloors across the globe. ‘Peculiar’ excels at combining progressive chords with mighty kickdrums and solid percussions, whereas ‘Freeze’ wraps up the EP perfectly with its cosmic arpegios, frenetic beats and deep, atmospheric textures.
Release Date: September 9.
