Nathan Coles, founding member of legendary WIGGLE, dies aged 52

Nathan Coles, one of the most passionate, hedonistic & uncompromising underground DJs, has died at the age of 52, his family has confirmed.

In a career spanning 24 years and 4 Continents, Nathan has moved the international club scene with his Bass driven sound and grooves. Nathan and Terry Francis begun the legendary WIGGLE parties, responsible in part for the birth of what is now known as Tech House. 25 years of experience in organising legal and illegal underground parties all over London and in some of the most diverse venue’s… from Warehouse’s, Meat factories, Photographers Studios, Car Auction’s, Film Studios, Fields, Beaches and even the famous Krays Twin gangsters old club in Hackney. He has been behind parties, such as Heart & Soul, The Funny Farm, the near mythical Release parties with a certain Mr.C and then In 1994 he got together with Terry Francis and launched Wiggle, bringing the finest from Deep house to Techno, to the club going fraternity. Residences all over the globe, and a 10 year residency with Wiggle at the award winning Fabric, have cemented his name as one of the finest dance floor twisters around, and not only does he play other peoples music, he’s also quite good at making them himself and has nearly 200 releases to date…

In a statement, the Coles family (Fabian and Josh) said they were “still in shock and can’t believe he is truly gone”
