Electronic composer Frank Hopkins and electronica artist Løgomyx are set to release Asymptote, a deeply personal EP exploring loss, grief, and the process of moving forward.
Inspired by the mathematical concept of an asymptote—a curve that forever approaches a line without ever touching it—the EP reflects how we navigate grief, never fully reaching closure but finding a way to live with the sorrow. Each track moves through distinct phases: Convergence, Inflection Point, and Singular Drift, capturing the shifts between pain, change, and acceptance.
Blending Hopkins’ cinematic soundscapes and electronics with Løgomyx’s classical music background and his intricate eye for detail, Asymptote resulted in a beautiful immersive listening experience.
