Berlin Trio Dina Summer Reimagine apaull’s “Gunfactor” as an Indie Dance Remix

Following the release of his Gunfactor album on April 24 and a month-long push around the title track, Dutch-Canadian producer and Furnace Room Recordings founder apaull returns with a new reinterpretation of the single, from Berlin trio Dina Summer. known for blending darkwave, EBM, Italo disco, new wave, and electroclash influences into a dark retro-futuristic synth sound, Dina Summer transform Gunfactor into a driving, synth-heavy cut built around sharp percussion, pulsing basslines, cinematic textures, and hypnotic late-night energy. The remix pushes the original deeper into underground club territory while retaining its tension and atmosphere.

Formed in 2019, Dina Summer features Greek vocalist Dina alongside producers Max Brudi and Jakob Häglsperger. Their releases include the album Rimini, the EPs Who Am I and Hide & Seek, and their 2025 full-length Girls Gang, further establishing the trio as one of Europe’s most compelling modern synth acts.

The collaboration continues an ongoing connection between the artists after Dina Summer previously remixed apaull’s Tight Dope in 2023.

The Gunfactor remix release lands May 22 on Furnace Room Recordings. https://furnaceroomrecords.lnk.to/frr037
