After banging releases on BPitch, трип and Synewave, Jurek Przezdziecki (Praecox) is back on International Day Off with a fantastic LP, “Optimism Bias”.
This time, Jurek takes us deeper into his own vision of techno, blending Detroit and UK-inspired rhythms, hypnotic patterns and raw, uncompromising energy with a strong sense of space and melody.
The tracks move between machine grooves, deep atmospheres and more intense, driving moments, creating a sound that feels both timeless and firmly rooted in the present. Drawn from different periods of Jurek’s creative life, these tracks open up his personal archive to the listener — ideas shaped at different moments, brought together through a shared sense of rhythm, space and tension. There is a surgical precision to the cuts — a signature of Jurek Przezdziecki.
“Optimism Bias” is not about chasing the latest trends or pushing things faster and harder. It is about rhythm, repetition, tension and the details hidden inside the machines. A carefully constructed journey through hypnotic sequences, raw machine energy and deep electronic landscapes.
