Rennie Foster – Love Won Another,February 14th, 2019
If ever there was a label and an artist that suited one another, than Rennie Foster and the Calgary-based Moonlight Records are surely it. Known for their endlessly diverse outlet, they play host here to a man whose sound is firmly rooted in house and techno — but also someone who possesses a deep and rich understanding of hip-hop and its associated culture. The cleverly titled ‘Love Won Another’ EP sees the Vancouver maestro perk up with no less than three stunning originals — each one notable for its deep aesthetics and all-out dancefloor prowess.
