Showcasing her versatile talent, Tasha delivers 13 beautifully penned emotive gems that weave between the R&B and Soulful House spectrum, primed with heartfelt lyrics reflecting on love, loss and positive affirmations. The album features an array of collaborations with some of the hottest talent on the soulful scene, including DJ Spen, Jay Kutz, Rhemi, Spencer Morales (DJ Spen & John Morales), Master Mello, DJ Kemit, Sebb Junior, Soulfuledge, Jihad Muhammad, Beat Rivals, Earl Tutu & John Khan, Opolopo and Arrested Development band mate, Speech. Alongside 9 brand new exclusive songs, the album features popular singles ‘Ready’ and ‘Never Be Alone’, along with 2 spine tingling cover versions – Angie Stone’s classic ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ and Teena Marie’s much loved soul jam, ‘I Need Your Lovin’.
“This album is a well-rounded view inside my head. It represents how I see the world and communicates my passion for forward movement. I believe that we as humans are capable of accomplishing extraordinary things, but to do so requires us to leave our comfort zones and embrace the unknown. That last sentence is easier said than done, so I’m releasing this record to prove its possible.” – Tasha LaRae
