Tel Aviv producer Yani Ani mixes new wave, punk and rhythm tracks on his slick Unterman debut w/ D.Y.O.R. remix(Listen Now)

Tel Aviv imprint Unterman delivers a new debut EP courtesy of Yani Ani, a fellow Tel Avivian DJ, producer and visual artist now based in Holland.

Synths are tweaked and guitar licks chopped up across three original tracks where Yani shares a glimpse of his influences, spanning new wave, punk, indie, nu disco and rhythm tracks. Opener and title track “Yalla Bo” is the twinkling subtropical chugger DJs will be reaching out for subtle emotional breakdowns. “Ohevet” is the poster track for post-punk à la Tel Aviv, all in ooohs, aaahs and mean old basslines. “Hectic Living Rhythm” closes the trio of originals with an energy levels lifting alloy of body-shaking percussions, gangsta feels guitars and tripped out noises galore. D.Y.O.R. completes the package with a rework of “Yalla Bo” best suited for the afterhours.

As with all Unterman releases, rest assured that this stuff bangs out and stands out in the club. “Yalla Bo” is released December 7th
