SELVA opened on 14 August 2026 in the countryside outside Ragusa, in south-east Sicily, the first club in the Iblean territory with a year-round programme of underground electronic music. The venue occupies a historic masseria a few minutes from the sea at Marina di Ragusa, and its main stage is the “cavea”, an open-air floor set into the rock and the Mediterranean scrub. Two indoor rooms, the “ballatoio” and the “scuderie”, carry the programme through autumn and winter.
On the same grounds, Flora – Pizza Natura extends the venue’s experience beyond the dancefloor. More than a pizzeria, it is a multi-use space dedicated to food and music, centred around a panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding landscape. Open before the club and continuing throughout club hours, Flora welcomes guests from sunset onwards, offering a place to eat, listen to music and gather before the night’s programme begins.
The programme covers a wide spectrum of electronic music, where international headliners meet with local collectives and showcases. Francesco Maria b2b Andrea Saba and Roi Perez kicked things off during the opening weekend. Satoshi Tomiie, GNMR b2b Venerus and Alex Neri b2b Francesco Farfa follow across the summer, alongside many other Italian and local acts. On 22 August the club hosts the afterparty of трип to sicilia, Nina Kraviz’s label festival on the island: Praecox plays live, Skorri opens the decks, and the night closes with a back to back трип has never staged before, Cerrot b2b Deniro b2b Franzizca b2b Nina Kraviz b2b Skorri b2b u.r.trax.
The site has been built for long nights outdoors, with a state of the art d&b audiotechnik rig and a full lighting design. The booking policy is international, with regular slots for the DJs already working in the region, so the club that Ragusa has never had opens with its rich local scene on the bill. It will run as a cultural and community space as well as a club, embedded in the Iblean territory, a landscape with its own cultural and scenic identity.
SELVA is part of JAR, the group behind Piper, Mercato del Porto, Villa Tartaruga and Tosca, and the club adds the night to a day the group already runs.
