Australia’s Fleur De Mur brings raw emotion and soulful conviction to ‘The One That Got Away,’ a powerful song about a woman finding the strength to move on from an indecisive partner. Her distinctive soul mamma vocals ramp up her message of self-respect and empowerment… without holding anything back! DJ Spen and MicFreak propel the track on to the dance floors with their finely tuned Baltimorean vibes, offering two very different mixes. As you would expect, their Fun House version is warm, irresistible slice of soulful house grooviness wrapped in Fleur’s vocals, while the atmospheric Deeply Pressurised Mix comes with an Afrohouse twist and offers a deeper, dubbier and more spacious take on the song, loaded with playfully chopped up vocals.
‘The One That Got Away’ is out now on Traxsource / full release on October 30th 2026 on Quantize Recordings.
