Argentinian duo Los Cabra team up with the ZEHN Records family to release two melodic house tracks entitled ‘Hayat’ EP including a remix from Get Physical’s Pezzner.
Manuel Sahagun & Christ Burstein, the seasoned duo behind Los Cabra, were drawn to each other through their mutual appreciation for deep, melodic rhythms. Individually they’ve been active within electronic music for over a decade now with a handful of releases on the likes of Oblack, Mother, Blind Vision and We Records. 2016 saw the duo from Buenos Aires pair up as Los Cabra and have since gone on to release on Bar 25 Music, Golden Gate Club, Culprit, Parallel and Christ’s Rural Records. Their ‘Hayat’ EP sees them join the ZEHN roster following slick releases from Gersound, Modul Kollektiv and Daniel Rateuke to name a few.
‘Hayat’ kicks things off with sharp synth stabs, organic percussion and emotive pads before ‘Pepiri Guazu’ offers up gentle melodies, winding modulations and euphoric elements. Pezzner who holds releases on Get Physical, VIVa and Decay Records then rounds things off with his remix of ‘Pepiri Guazu’ balancing tension building oscillations, undulating low end and fluid drums to create an uplifting atmosphere throughout.
