Florence Welch Useless Magic in collaboration with Gucci
Florence Welch has today announced details of a special, limited edition of Useless Magic, with cover artwork designed by Gucci and published today on Fig Tree/Penguin.
A collection of lyrics, artworkand poetry which offers a unique, personal insight into her creative process, Florence celebrated the re-launch of Useless Magic by hosting an intimate poetry reading at the Gucci Wooster Bookstore in NYC last night. This one-off, Gucci-designed edition is additionally now available exclusively in-store at the Gucci Wooster Bookstore, The Gucci Garden in Florence, Dover Street Market London and online at the Florence + The Machine webstore.
The Gucci edition of Useless Magic caps off a remarkable year for Florence, whose fourth album ‘High As Hope’ already has the feel of a career-defining moment. Featuring the anthemic singles ‘Hunger’, ‘Sky Full Of Song’, ‘Big God’ and Patricia’, Florence has since been nominated for the Mercury Prize (her third nominee), toured the world (includingtwo-sold out dates at London’s O2 Arena) and earned the best reviews of her career. Already confirmed to headline the likes of British Summertime Hyde Park in 2019, what’s emerged is an artist in the truest sense, who also appears more certain of her abilities than ever.
Tickets will be released for British Summertime Festival Hyde Park, 9am Friday 7th December 2018.
