World renowned DJ and producer Mark Knight makes his BBE Music debut with ‘Fire Burning’, a disco-house gem featuring vocals by Mike City , Out August 16th 2019.
Founder of Toolroom Records and long-time fixture on the global club and festival circuits, Mark joined forces with producer James F Reynolds to create this sun-drenched instrumental cut. Drawing on their shared love of gospel, disco and boogie, Mark and James laid down a string-laden, smooth-grooving track, before Mike City dropped a classic soul vocal over the top.
The resultant summer jam is a special one. Award winning, chart-topping songwriter Mike City knows a thing or two about penning classics, and ‘Fire Burning’ is right up there with his best work. The production is sleek and self-assured, carefully crafted with an eye to the dance-floor.
